Backstory🔓...

Briana Baptíste is a storyteller, creative, and truth-seeker with a heart rooted in healing, self-discovery, and spiritual growth. A California native, she follows wherever life and growth take her—coastlines, cities, and everywhere in between.

Born to the sound of harmonies, Briana grew up in a home where music was lifeblood. Her mother directed choirs while Briana was still in the womb, and she spent her childhood performing on stages, in recitals, and behind microphones, using rhythm and melody to say what words alone could not. Alongside music, she earned awards for her writing, turning the page into both a stage and a sanctuary to process trauma, reclaim joy, and make sense of life’s chapters.

Her work draws from personal experience, ancestral wisdom, and the messy, beautiful chaos of growing up. Through journaling, grief, creativity, and community, she has turned her own healing journey into a blueprint for others to reflect, feel, and rise. Whether she’s writing in her journal, curating experiences, or dancing in her living room to early 2000s throwbacks, Briana believes in the power of storytelling and a little musical therapy to transform, connect, and affirm. Good Luck, 20-Somethings is her debut book and a love letter to the lessons, losses, and liberation of early adulthood.

✍🏾 Why I Wrote This Book (and Built This Space)

When I started writing Good Luck, 20-Somethings, I was in the thick of it: grief, identity shifts, heartbreaks, glow-ups, burnouts. I wasn’t reflecting from some mountain of wisdom. I was writing from the messy middle, and I wanted to capture the real stuff—the unfiltered, uncensored truth of becoming.

I didn’t see enough books that sounded like us, that held space for the spirals and the softness, that talked about hookup culture and healing, self-discovery and generational trauma, grief and the club. So I wrote what I needed: a book that doesn’t pretend to have all the answers but gives you stories, mirror moments, and honesty you can actually feel. This website is an extension of that intention.
